Ngangganawili Aboriginal Health Service (NAHS)
Description of Commercial Solar Project :
The Goals: NAHS is a remote GP, after-hours, accident and emergency service. They wanted to reduce their energy bills through renewable energy. Solar Balance was selected for their unique capability to comply with Horizon Power’s (Horizon) generation management requirements.
During the project, Horizon required active feed-in management and Solar Balance also delivered this.
The Approach: The system comprised 100kWp of GCL PV Modules and 3 x 40 kWh BYD CESS (Cabinet Energy Storage Systems) to connect the roof mounted PV to the grid to provide seamless solar smoothing.
Balance also facilitated securing of finance and negotiation of terms with Equigroup, a CBA subsidiary.
The Results: Delivery of a fully funded, grid connected renewable energy system that has generated significantly reduced electricity and health service delivery costs for NAHS.
